Of the products you listed have you found any that stop root knot nematodes from eating tomato roots? Or anything else you have used for RKNs?
Need all the help I can get. |

Sounds like you know what you are talking about! Do you have knowledge that Actinovate
applied to roots and soil drench will deter root knot nematodes? Thanks for all info. PS: Do you know of any product, home gardener, can use effectively against RKN? I do: F. marigolds, mustard greens Fall, Winter and till when extreme hot or cold. |

The application instructions are on the label here for how much depending on the plant species. Product FAQ page https://www.yourplantdoctor.com/orga...ungicide-faqs/ Although it is called a "Fungicide", phosphorous acids are actually directly effective against many Oomycetes which are not true fungi. It may indirectly induce some resistance in the plant to true fungal pathogens but don't count on it for a preventative or a cure. Here's a good article on phosphorous acid fungicides https://pnwhandbooks.org/plantdiseas...osphorous-acid |

Thank you Ray! And, I happen to have some of that sitting around which I just realized I have had awhile and never used.
Do you use it more as an immune booster or something else? |

I used actinovate last year as a root and soil drench. Pretty expensive for a couple of ounces of product. It didn't seem to have any effect on the soil based problems I have had in the past. I've had better luck selecting plants with apparent broad spectrum resistance to various diseases.

It won't build immunity to other pathogens, but it may induce some resistance in the plant to some true fungal pathogens. Your mileage may vary depending on the species of plant and the specific target pathogen. |
