Mystery of the lost blossoms!

Well, drat.
It's been very windy today.
I was looking forward to seeing the first fruit set on Sugar Lump, but when I checked today, the first four flowers had dropped!
It's the first truss of flowers and at least five of them were open. The flowers were all there yesterday.

The plant is very well fed and well watered, so much so that it is brittle like a candy cane, and I accidentally snapped off two good leaves while staking it today.
The other plants, similarly buffeted by the wind, have kept their blossoms and are setting fruit.
Any thoughts about rapid blossom drop? I've seen this before on a cherry tomato plant, but only when the plant was not well watered.
Thanks for any ideas.

Happy to report that I finally found fruit set on Sugar Lump yesterday and the current blossoms seem to be hanging on.

The nearby Santa Clara Canner plant also had experienced some blossom drop, even with regular watering. I don't know, maybe the wind (and low humidity?) was the issue, these container plants are out by the wall and not in a corner.
