Elwood Blues and Elwood Tomcat
I have posted this on Tom Wagner's forum but I will add it here as well.
I am trying through selection to come up with two or maybe three new tomato varieties. Last year I grew 11 plants from seeds from Tom Wagner of a variety he called "Seattle's Blue Wooly Mammoth". I literally ended up with 11 different results. I had one woolly, but I was most interested in two other variations that were determinate, small fruited with blue tops. This year I have grown again from seeds saved from the two that I liked. I now have one with no stripes (Elwood Blues) and one with stripes (Elwood Tomcat) although I have a version with yellow stripes and one with green. I will save seeds from each and keep chasing these traits. I am using these to make salsa this year as well.

Beautiful tomatoes, and beautiful photo (as usual!). I expect the same sort of segregation from Tom's Green Lantern's Light. Wish I had the space to grow out each and every variant.

Yes, at least by my understanding. The plants stop at about 30 inches. They are very "branchy", instead of one main stem and are loaded with small tomatoes. I used a 2 1/2 gallon nursery pot for something to put the picked fruit in and I filled twice off about 6 plants.
This picture is not all of the harvest but you can see about what half of it looks like.

Lots of nice looking blemish-free fruit. Are any of the variations nice tasting?

Generally, they are beautifully red and ripe inside and taste excellent.

Here is an update on a very old post. New color variations.
I am growing seeds from this variety again after many years and new color variations are showing up. These were selections from a project started by Tom Wagner back in 2012. He sent seeds under the idea of "Searching for Blue Wooly Mammoth." These did not fit what the project was hoping for, although I have many other seeds closer to the mark, I liked how these looked. Now fast forward eight years, seeds from the pictured red tomatoes have given me these new color variations.
Here are the 2012 results: and here are some 2020 variations appearing:
