Cuke hummingbird

Saw a hummingbird go to my cuke plants,that was a first.
Didn't stay long.
She was interested in the yarn it hangs on also.
It has fake gold threads and dark red color.
Then she headed for the butterfly bush.

Nice story. Are those cucumber flowers standard male + female blossoms?

I grew a cuke that had only female blossoms and I wonder if that discouraged the bees from visiting.

Standard male and female flowers,so I don't know how the visitation would effect cuke production.
My cukes do attract all different types of bees.
Luckily ,they love hot weather and were actually bigger the hotter the weather got.
From last year saved seeds,the first ones were "only" about a foot long.
Suyo Long,they look like the english cukes but have more pricks and a lighter skin.
Now they are up to the normal 18 inches.
Some growing on my sat tv cable,so I can spot the salad ingredient from a distance.

Satellite cucumbers, I love it!

I've seen 3 fighting by the butterfly bush and chasing each other.
I high pitched screech.
They even are attracted to me and my red headband.
If they start picking my nose I'm gone,outta here.
