Default Southern Paste Tomatoes

I am looking for a paste tomato to grow in zone 8b with very high humidity(east Texas). Looking for a variety with 4 to 6 oz. fruits or larger with high disease resistance. Thinking about Granadero, Pozanno, possibly Rio Grande. Anyone grown these in the deep south with high humidity. Any other recommendations would be appreciated if you have had experience growing them.

I've grown Rio Grande here for the past three years. It's held up well and produces a ton. These pics are from last year:

If you would like to try some seed, send me a PM.

Impressive, especially in containers. Going to definitely give them a try.

In addition to Roma and Roma VF, we also grow Viva Italia, La Roma III, and Pompeii each year here in hot, humid northern Virginia. They produce well for us and manage to outlast/grow through our pervasive early blight and septoria problems. Viva Italia and Pompeii seeds are hard to find these days, so perhaps they've been edged out by newer, better varieties. I haven't tried Rio Grande, Granadero or Pozzano, so I can't compare to them. Hope you find something that works great for you.
