Default RL Gary O'Sena?

I got seeds from SandHill this spring, and of 4 seeds sowed, 3 germinated. Of those, two are RL and one is PL. I know Gary is supposed to be PL, so will grow that one for sure.

Just curious how stable GO is supposed to be. Whether it is likely that the two RL's are throwbacks to the Cherokee Purple heritage, or whether SandHill's GO's may have crossed with some new RL. Right now, I don't really have the room to grow out too many unknowns, so if it's most likely that the RL's are close to being like Cherokee Purples, I wouldn't feel to bad about not growing them out. Opinions?

If it was genetic instability, the liklihood of it being like Cherokee Purple is iffy - it is possible, but it also could be another combination of genes - pink fruit, for example. The other possibility is that it got crossed, and the reg leaf seedling is an F1 between Gary O'S and ???. Unless you have room, these little experiments, are often best left untouched!

I have started Gary'O Sena from two different people's own
saved seeds this spring, and all have been PL and alike.
(Seems to be stable.)

The RLs are probably a chance cross (insects at work).
