I dont believe that mushiness is typical of the variety. I have tasted 7 or 8 this year and all were very good, great texture and flavor.

I have experienced this also. I'm thinking of possible frost on tomatoes at some point.

Another possibility is sometimes the first tomatoes are seedless, or parthenocarpic, which is associated with a soft texture.

I had two fruits develop BER, so picked them off and into the compost. Azoychka and Stupice also are having a struggle with BER. Probably due to very quick growth and fruit set in HEB, and them some very cold then very warm weather. LOL
