and the winner is. . . Cyril's Choice!! (remember that low-hanging cluster on Cyril's Choice I posted earlier? This is the first ripe one, but the others are changing color, too! )

Initial comparison (Mountain Merit and Defiant: 5-gal shop bucket vs EB) based on developing green tomatoes only

More green tomatoes for the shop bucket, but they are half (if not 1/3) the size of those for the EB.

For instance, Mountain Merit (shop bucket) has 16 small ~6-oz green tomatoes vs about 8 10-11=oz green tomatoes
