Homeless shelter

Thought I had a home for these squaters. They keep complaining about wet feet and how they might get sick if the weather does not change. Heard some coughing and weezing but no outbreaks yet.
Promised them a good camp over a month ago with warm breezes, ample sunlight, soothing drinks and all the support they need so they can sink there toes into 90 feet of loamy love. My goal for now is to keep them in there coma status, spoon feed and hope that Mother Nature is getting tired.

When I first saw this post, I thought you were giving tomato plants to the homeless! LOL

I thought, what a nice sentiment. Although I don't think it will work out for them, unless they can push an earthbox around in their shopping carts.

Your plants are looking great. I see you’re trying to keep ‘em dry. I went to our local hardware chain, the local nursery, and Home Depot over the weekend. All have terrible looking tomato transplants. The pots are saturated, the plants are purple and the leaves are yellowing from the bottom up and falling off.

I can’t believe all this rain we’re having. Mine are living in a FEMA trailer during the downpours and the resulting floods in their soon to be beds. (They’re on the table, under lights, in our camping trailer). They should have been in the ground 3 weeks ago. I think we’re going to have a break in the weather next week, the sun is actually out now. I’m going to put them in no matter what. They’ll have to sink or swim.
