Transplanting questions... about Jiffy pots
I'm looking at Jiffy pots, the 4 inchers, on line. I have the overhead storage space in the garage so am thinking of getting a case (a lotta pots for sure). There are 2 kinds shown - the first is simply a closed conical pot (# 340) & the second is also circular put has slits in the bottom 1/3 of the sides & crimped rim (#144). Which do you experienced folks prefer? Thanks in advance folks!

You have no worries - I appreciate the advice you have given - soaking the parsley seed this pm. I hope you feel better soon.... & I really hope it's not a "kid bug" !
The prices certainly get better for bigger purchases - http://www.growerssolution.com/page/GS/CTGY/jiffy1 http://tnfarmsupply.com/cowpots-natu...pot-p-263.html http://www.groworganic.com/item_GP26...theses=4345711 ah, still it's $$$ |

He made sure he shared it with all of us! I'm quite sure he didn't mean it.... but this sharing of viruses with children is disabling in older people. If you order anything online... I figured that postage cost is cheaper when sent by "USPS Parcel Post." Peaceful Valley uses that as an Option. - Just so you know. Explore the Shipping Page; the chart you'd look for is in the lower left hand corner. You can insert your zip code there, and choose a delivery option without having to order something first. ~* Robin

Kid viruses are absolutely miserable in adults - I always hope by the time they get to me they have cycled through at least 2 daults to attenuate them - sickest I've ever been has come from direct innoculation by a very sweet feverish snotty little kid.
Still no preferences on those Jiffy pots, eh? closed or with slits - I dunno. Closed is a bit bigger...slitted ones are cheaper... Last edited by stormymater; March 22, 2009 at 02:37 AM. Reason: pondering back on topic |
