Default My downfall as a Mater farmer..help!

I have been tomato growing for approx 5 years. I am somewhat successful, but I know I can do better. My downfall is consistent spraying for leaf disease's. I use Ortho disease control. I sprayed last night a day after a big rain , and guess what it poured down again today..I thought the rain had ended, but I should know better than to listen to the weather man.......How long do I wait to spray again?.........also I still have 2/3 of a gallon left in my sprayer.......Can I use it again??...or do I need to dispose of it after I mix it?........If I can re-use how long will it keep in the sprayer?.......I believe this might help me be more consistent w/ my spraying efforts if I have a dedicated sprayer just for Ortho disease control..........If I could just add to what is left in the sprayer each time I think I would spray more often...any help would be appricated........Thanks

I may be wrong but I dont think you are supposed to store it for any length of time. And as far as spraying, I always repeat after a good rain unless it continues to rain or radar indicates more is on the way. I let the plants dry out completely and reapply at 1 TBSP per gallon. Good luck

I spray once a week and leave the solution in the sprayer and have not had any problems( store away from heat and sunlight). When finished spraying, I turn it upside down and spray till air comes out so that the nozzle won't clog. Shake well before using again. I also let out all the air out of the sprayer and release the pressure on the gasket by unscrewing it till it's loose. The gasket might compress over time and will not hold air pressure ( I lost one gasket by not releasing the pressure).

Duane, and Tony...........Thank you for your imput......This is my goal for this year.........spray once a week.....no excuses!!.......The cold front just blew in.......it is supposed to get down in the mid 40's tonight, and upper 30's tomorrow night....1/2 of my mater cages have plastic wrap around the diameter of the cage, and up to 2 feet (wind protection)......should I cover the other bigger unprotected plants??.......
