Quite Regularly, even though there was a town in CA that banned its use a few years ago.
Lately I have been trying a new formulation Dihydrous Monoxide or DHMO. A great product although it does have some drawbacks. http://www.webspawner.com/users/dhmo/ |

When I first read this post I was totally confused. I was never very good at chemical nomenclature but it seemed to me that dihydrogen monoxide could only be one thing, water. So looking on the internet I became even more confused, because there are so many sites saying DHMO is bad. However, unless I am still totally confused, I think this all has to be joke and somone is trying to scare people on the internet for fun.
