Default Two visitors!

So last night the wife had a bunch of friends over for a scentsy party. I brought the kids back later and the women were all still there. One of my friends who's a tomato grower mentioned they covered their tomatoes. I hadn't checked recently but we were getting 34 last night, so I covered all of my toms and peppers.

Visitor two. Cleaning up out side tonight and saw something out of the corner of my eye. Thought it was a kids toy or a green bean, thought why'd that be here. (on the cement by the back door.)It was a tomato(tobacco) horn worm! I saw them at the Smithsonian this year and was surprised how big they were. This one was huge, fully 4" if not longer, and as fat as my pinkie. I'll have to inspect tomorrow and figure out where he got so fat, hopefully he doesn't have a bunch of friends, and I'm grateful it's the end of the season.

I broke the camera last weekend, sorry no pic.

Are you sure he wasn't puffing away on a hookah? And that there wasn't a cat, with nothing but a huge grin showing, hanging out in a nearby tree? Maybe a white rabbit running around?

What is a scentsy party?
Those hornworms are scary looking things! We had them a couple years ago. My husband still freaks out if he overhears horn worm mentioned in a conversation during gardening season.

Remy
A sentsy party is where folks get together and smoke dried horn worms.

Never did find what he was feeding on to get so big, Her friend sells scentsy, kinda like candles, but a light bulb in a ceramic thing. An excuse for gals to have a party, I think pampered chef is better.

RJ,
I've never heard of them, but then again I'm not into that kind of thing. I hold tomato parties.

After the horn worms have chewed through a cannabis or two.
