Holy Crap! Wonder what the rest of the plant looked like. Wonder what it all weighed...that's not mentioned in the article.

That is cool.
I had a massive truss this season. Had almost 200 blooms but less then half set as that end of the row had water problems(lack of during fruitset).
Some of the fruit had already been harvested before I decided to hack the whole truss to check it out.
No it's not Yellow Pear.
