Default amazing find today

While walking this afternoon I found - November 25 in NEBRASKA a tomato plant growing and green - I had to back up and look again. The top and some branches were frozen but the little bugger had new leaves coming out near the base and one branch had new foliage as well, no buds, lots of leaves have blown into the bed. The location is on the south side of a store front church. They had a little garden between the sidewalk and street. Must be sun, heat the from concrete street and a parking lot. I just said I'll be darn that is one tough little plant because we have had some very cold weather. Piegirl

What a fun discovery! Pity it doesn't have any fruit so you can get some seed.
