I added two teaspoons of calcium nitrate to a watering can before drenching a tomato plant in a container....except I grabbed the wrong bottle and used clohrine remover isntead of the calcium nitrate by accident.

I hope it doesnt kill the plant. I watered it like crazy afterwards in hopes I could wash the chemical away.

Since you are already using a 9-4-4 fertilizer, I suspect that
calcium nitrate will raise the nitrate levels too high, and you
will get massive plant growth instead of lots of flowers and
fruitset.

(Tablespoon in a gallon of water is probably about right.)
