Fertilize this weekend maybe
Fertilize this weekend? I have had great/huge fruits so far, my plants have been in the ground for 12 plus weeks now, I have cut the tops off. I now have new fruit growing hear the tops of each plant, should I fertilizer now? I have Neptune fish emulsion, another Alaskan fish fertilizer, and a sea weed fertilizer also. Or Miracle grow for tomatoes.? Also should I put any on the leaves now. Should have hopefully 30 more days berfore cold nights in late September.
I am in Zone 6 very close to the ocean. Last edited by FILMNET; August 20, 2010 at 10:10 AM. Reason: zone 6 |

I fertilized mine when they got like that and got another good burst of tomatoes. I used Miracle Grow and did a soil drench as well as a foliage spray. It seems that after they produce that first wave of good fruit that they need that little extra to produce good fruit near the end instead of those little ones.
