Ludmilla's Pink Heart, Carolyn or anybody else grow this one?

While the taste has been great on this meaty heart, I have noticed that all the fruit I have pulled on the one plant I have, are always firm even when totally ripen. Kind of like a grocery store roma or something of the like. Is this a normal trait of this variety? Its been an interesting eating experience to say the least.

Yes, I grew it I think two years ago along with the other Ludmilla ones which I offered in my seed offer here.

I don't remember it as being especially firm as opposed to other hearts, pink, red or otherwise that I'v grown.

I think Ami has grown it so we'll see what he has to say.

Damon, can't really remember but this new Russian heart I'm growing seems to be pretty firm when ripe. Ami

Damon, I've grown Ludmilla's Pink Heart for two years now, from seeds sent to me by Carolyn. In both years the fruits have been rather big, firm, and very good tasting. I gave it a better spot this year and it rewarded me with quite a few great tomatoes. It's on my Keepers list. Gary

I don't have a good memory of the taste of this one from this
season. I suspect that's because it was only average in
flavor.
It was very productive despite the disease and worms that kept attacking it.
It produced one fruit that was close to 1.5 pounds, and it
kept for quite a while on the counter after harvested.
