Seeking some planting advice
I plan to have my transplants in the ground on or about May 1st. When would be your estimated seed starting date given I will have the ability to start my seedling inside under lights? I live in west TN - thanks in advance.

Yeah, most guides say 6-8 weeks before it's safe to plant outside. This year I started some at our usual time and the weather was so unseasonably warm and sunny that they were outside during the day from start to finish and inside at night with supplemental lighting to bring the total light hours to 14-16/day. The transplants were ready at only 4 1/2 weeks! Guess they like the sun better than growlights.
Nice assortment of tomatoes...no cherries? |
