Fedco finally shipped Wow
No, you got that wrong. I'm not WOW because Fedco finally shipped, I'm wow because Fedco finally shipped Wow tomato seed.
I got a pack of about 100 seed in a package delivered today. Fred, do you reckon Blush will have competition? DarJones |

Wow! An OP cherry tomato with SunGold and Brandywine genes. I hope it lives up to its description.

Hopefully it's better than a couple of the other brandywine cherry types already out.
I have Brandysweet Plum and it's OK. But Brandywine Cherry and a couple of others I can't remember the names of right now were quite the spitters for me last year. They had a strange sharp taste I wouldn't have expected from something with "Brandywine" in the name or heritage. They weren't really cherries either. More like a mini flattened beef in shape. Strange how breeding 2 great varieties doesn't always mean you will automatically get a new great variety. Carol |

I tried that one last year, and it was so-so. Not a spitter, but nothing special. It was one of the taste-test winners in Texas, so I wonder if it needs heat to develop good flavor. Last summer was the coolest we've had in a long time.

Bet the heat is a big part - we had 90 days with average daily temp of 90 from June through August - hell on the tomatoes but Brandysweet produced well & tasted good enough for me to order more seed for 2011. I was too depressed by production to do anything other than eat what we got out of hand & share with friends.
We will see what WOW! does here as well - TY Fedco! |

Hey, if I cross Blush with Wow, I could release a really good hybrid tomato in just one year. I'll call it "Blow". I can see it now. Blow cherry tomatoes are the best cherry tomatoes on the market!!!
just a very tongue in cheek comment for a sunny January morning folks! DarJones |

I ordered WOW! a couple or 3 years ago and got left out! The excuse was poor germination, nothing could have poorer germination than the seeds I DID NOT GET!!! LOL And so it goes! ~Dig |

I ordered Wow, but was too late, as they were out of stock. I'll be curious to hear what you think of that variety. Fedco is one of my favorite vegetable seed sources by the way.

I have a WOW! plant this year thanks to a generous Tomatovillian. My Fedco order was too late this year also. I have some bagged fruits, but none ripe enough for tasting yet. I'm hoping for an open-pollinated option to Sungold F1. I'll offer seeds if germination is decent.

I got some of the Wow seeds and planted them. But I've lost track of them in the greenhouse. I hope they are doing OK.
I'm just getting to planting out most of my new-to-me varieties. They are a bit late but we had to hold off on the transplanting when we were killing everything til we found out what the problem was. Most of my new stuff is OK but late because of that. Carol |
