As sold by Organica Seeds- And the price is $12.50 for 10 seeds!....Almost Insane Right?

My questions-

What are the parents? Hybrid? or OP?
Is this RL or PL?
What color are the fruits?
Ind or Det?
Any proven Pics you have, please share-
Any History of this? please share-

Sure there's a picture and if you look at the rest of the tomato varieties they offer I think you'll get the picture pretty quickly.

I don't know why you don't go for the Giant Special on that tomato at, what was it, 20 of those seeds for, I forgot now, was it about $20?

Might as well grow Big Zac or Delicious, all guaranteed to grow 6# fruits if given enough food and water.

Well, there's a picture of a red beefsteak tomato, it says IND for plant habit to the right of the name, which is a made up name for no doubt a known variety.

It isn't a selection from the seeds that Marv Meissner or someone he knew who got seeds from Gordan Graham's award winning Delicious b'c those seeds are pretty tightly held and last I knew were being offered at some Giant Pumpkin website for those in the know.

Nope, I don't see myself as being stumped at all lili, I see it as a ruse to make a ridiculous amount of money from false advertising.

Why don't you go ahead and order some seeds and get back to us when you see what they do for you. Pictures will be mandatory and don't forget to give them plenty of food and water as the website suggests or you probably won't get any fruits over 5#.

What a pant load of crap... anyone who falls for that B.S. deserves to be parted from their money and the sooner the better. What percent of their selling price covers the "luck" part, I wonder?

No doubt it's a known variety, renamed with the intent to fleece both the uninformed and the gullible.

Don't forget Omar's Lebanese, Carolyn. I've gotten some 4+ lb. tomatoes and didn't get suckered into paying $12.50 for 10 measly seeds to grow it.

Whenever you visit my grave,

say to yourselves with regret

but also with happiness in your hearts

at the remembrance of my long happy life with you:

"Here lies one who loved us and whom we loved."

No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you,

and not all the power of death

can keep my spirit

from wagging a grateful tail.

Nope, I'm not forgetting Omar or Red Barn or Large Pink Bulgarian or Cuostralee or Zogola or Tidwell German and quite a few more that have the genetic potential to get some big ones and folks have reported same.

Lili, how about when you buy those seeds you get what they call Tomato Helper for $11.95 for one pound.

One pound of what say I, and tempted to say what, but thinking maybe not at the risk of seeing what the bad word translater software comes up with.

Wow the prices on that site even for other varieties!
For example 10 Moon and Stars for $10.00!! I sell them for 25 for $1.50. Everything is way more.(Not that I want you all to run to my site, just pointing out the price disparity.)

P.T. Barnum is alive and well. I hope Hammer buys them out before I look at that site. I might be tempted (and very drunk at the same time).
