Kelp meal
anyone use it with success?

I use it in a fertilizer mix along with Seedmeal, Bonemeal, Garden & Dolomite lime and sometimes Fish blood and Bone depending on the crop. I origonally got the mix from one of Steve Soloman's books. Seems to grow good veg anyway.
I'm also near the sea so I use seaweed straight on the plot as people use manure but I still put the seaweed dust into the mix! |

I've used Kelp meal for years as a soil amendment, if you are looking for the benefits of Kelp (natural growth hormones, micro nutrients) as a fertilizer, you should try Liquid or Soluble Kelp, our tomato plants always react very well to a good foliar spray.

I mix it with the worm tea that I use as a foliar spray and add it to the same Steve Solomon fertilizer that King Carrot mentioned. It's hard to say whether an individual ingredient makes much of a difference or not, but I do notice great results after using the spray.
