Pomadoro Crovarese

Has anyone heard of or grown this tomato? It is an Italian tomato, egg shaped and grows in clusters. I was given some seed for this and I was just wondering if anyone has any comments on it. It appears the only place you can get seeds for it is in Europe. This is a picture I found on Ebay in Italy. Guess I spelled it wrong in the title. It is Pomodoro Crovarese.

My Husband grew this. It was a very tangy tomato and produced like crazy. He also says the plants got huge/tall. He says he used it to make his "Snappy Tom" juice. He trials a lot of cherry/small/ (HUGE WASTE OF TIME & SPACE!!!) tomatoes and he says he will grow this one again. The only negative he says was that the skin was thin and he had some cracking and they bruised easily.

Nothing to add about the variety except Pomodor Crovarese just means "Tomato from Crova."

I'll have to keep this variety in mind - my big complaint about cherry tomatoes is that the skin is too thick. I hate popping one in my mouth, and after it pops, I just have a mouth full of skin. Yuck!
