My Garden 2011
Well so far this year, although I have had some trouble, my plants have never looked healthier or bigger. I am thrilled with my earthtainers and look forward to learning more and more!!

And my Peppers
I have way too many peppers but I am gathering recipes and ideas for what to do with them. Most are hot but some bell peppers of various colors, NM Big Jim, Fresno, Habanero, Jalapeno, Hungarian Wax, Serrano....ok, too many to remember. I have them written down somewhere.

Wow!! Kim, they all look great.
One thing I have learned over the years with the EarthTainers, is that in the early Spring, there appears to be a lot of space between them - - but as the plants get in gear, that spacing "shrinks". Next Season, I would recommend you try to allow some more free space between all of them, as this will actually improve yields, air circulation, minimize fungal infections, etc. I know it sounds counter-intuitive - - but trust me - - it works. Great job again, for your first "EarthTainer Season". Raybo |

Thanks Raybo. I think that everytime I have to get on my knees to water some of them. LOL, I started out walking thru the maze with no trouble. Now, some are easy and some are not so easy. I am trying to work out where to put them next year that allows the greatest amount of sun to the most plants but still allows them to breath. I really had no idea they would grow so much. It has been fun watching them grow even if I am getting my work out as I water.

For next Season, I highly recommend you consider buying the Automated Watering System (AWS) from the EarthBox Company, and adapting it to use in your EarthTainers as per the Guide. Hands down, this has been the best garden investment I have ever made. It has saved me countless hours standing by each EarthTainer filling them up with a hose. Raybo |
