Default Identify the mystery sausage tomato!

Friend of a friend has a volunteer in the yard right now and cannot identify it.


EDIT: the link is valid, but I cannot directly put the picture using the Insert command.

I could not access your attached pictures, but if they are striped red when they mature, they might be Polish Linguisa. Mine was shaped like that but were very large. Joan

Mojo, without knowing what your friend was growing last year such that there's now a volunteer this year, I don't think it's going to be possible to ID it.

it could be a volunteer of a variety your friend was growing, or it could be the result of a natural cross pollination, thus a hybrid.

About all I can say is if your friend likes it when it ripens up, for all I see in the picture is green, to save some F2 seeds and work with it, which is a wholel other issue.
