Darkening in one area of leaf
Hello, it's my first thread start.
I have better boy growing and I noticed the tissue is slightly darker where the petiole meets the rachis , but only on some leaves, those that are older. Has anyone else had this problem, or is it normal for this variety? I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and it's been rainy lately. The plant seems otherwise healthy, and the darkness does not seem to be spreading, it's just isolated to the joint. I am learning alot thanks to this website |

I know what you mean and it has nothing to do with Better Boy F1, for that darkened area can be found with almost every variety I've grown, of which there have been many. I stopped even being concerned about it, not that I ever really was, b'c I was raised on a farm and saw that dark area actually decades ago. So not to worry, it's OK.
