Default I know this will be difficult but...

Please try
I would like you tell me the ONE tomato you ABSOLUTELY have to plant each year.
I'm looking to try a few new varieties this year.
Oh yeah, Happy New Year!!!

I see both of those mentioned on a LOT of must-have lists.. That says quite a lot.

For me, one must-have is Rouge de Marmande. I grow it every year.

Im pretty much a boring person but by this time of the year I am longing for tomatoes so bad I'll do just about anything for one especially this year since the heat and dought here killed everything before summer got here....
I plant early girls every year so I can have tomoatoes before May.........only have one 50 foot row of planting space so 15 early girls go in the ground then assorted varieties that I want to try from year to year.

Down here where the humidity and heat like to stay near 100 all summer, I couldn't get by without Indian Stripe.

I LOVED Evergreen this year. I will plant it every year from now on, just in case it tastes like this year's!

If I could only grow one, I would hunt down whomever was trying to repress my tomato growing needs, kill them, chop them up, compost them, and use them to fertilize my myriad of varieties I must grow

Nope the rules are the rules.
If you break the rules you go to Tomatoville prison and stay locked up for the remainder of the 2012 season.
You are now on probation.
No 2nd choice.
