Long Life Tomato
This tomato was grown outside and picked in Nov 2011 before the bad weather set in , the picture was taken yesterday 30/3/2012 and still looks in good condition , has been keep at room temp in the kitchen .

Oooh, how cool! I don't know If I could eat it yet if it were mine. I might have to keep watching it to see how long it takes it to go bad.
But this year could be experiment time! Pick as many of them as you can next November and then eat one every two to four weeks, just to see how long they last while retaining a decent taste. (Then collect plenty of seeds, because we'll all be foaming at the mouth to get them!) |

I have only got the one tomato left , I noticed it at Christmas as i was picking through what was left from last years crop , so I brought in from the garage and started to keep an eye on it .
So the plan is to cut in half and taste it and keep what seeds I can and start sowing them . As for the variety well in order of possibles as not sure what plant it came from Angelle F2 Sunstream F2 Aunt Madge Harleyquin F1 |
