Default Favorite Heirloom(s)?

Do you have a (some) favorite heirloom(s)? (Don't think I've seen a recent thread with that question.) If so, what are they and why? Enquiring minds wanna know....

Chocolate Stripes is mine

It isn't the typical selection that you see in threads like these, but I have saved seed from the plant for a few years now and it does great for more. My criteria is strange in that in addition to wanting the taste and productivity and health that every one else wants. I also demand a plant that continues to look attractive, and fruit not prone to the uglies.

Thanks, Feldon, for the list of those favorite threads. All of those threads were very useful to me in choosing varieties for 2012. I looked for people in the Deep South, and tended to go toward what they successfully grew. Another example of the power of the collective experiences of this Forum.

Two varieties liked by several people in the Deep South were Indian Stripe and Super Sioux, both of which I am trying this year.

[Arkansas] Traveler often gets overlooked, but it's great for the South. Medium pink globes are very sweet yet rich.

I only grow in containers. I'll definitely try Brad Black Heart, would it do well in a pot?

I have several round trellises, metal and some bamboo. I agree you need big pots, once I solved the aeration problem my plants were huge, with great, tasty tomato's. I switched 100% to heirlooms for taste and nutrition.

I put my pots (rubbermaid type 18 gal containers) on the ground and do a Florida weave with tall t-posts.
