Snails
I went out last night with a flashlight to check on a fresh release of Ladybugs. What I found was a herd of snails. I managed to kill 15 of them, but i'm sure there are more.

Yuck! I have to say I've never seen that many at once, thankfully, but we do get them all the time around the compost heaps, garbage cans and in the garden. They're oh so fond of lettuce, cabbage, peas, spinach and potatoes. A herd, indeed!

At least none of the giant 6 inch diameter ones as yet, but I hear Miami is getting alot of those. It's because the whitflies and iguanas weren't enough of a menace, right |

Thanks Kurt. Luckily I don't have to worry about them yet, just the normal 1/2 inch or smaller type so far.
