cardboard boxes put through the shredder for mulch
It actually looks good........... almost like pine bark mulch......... here are some photos

Looks nice. You could also chip, and then compost the cardboard.

I dont know of any downsides.......... I'm sure there are some chemicals in the glue that holds it together............ I tear off any tape and only use the brown cardboard boxes...... and yes Mudman........... that is a great idea........... I'm shredding as I type here in my office..........

No Kiddin, my hubby might not be happy if I do that to his shredder but maybe I can get one for me, lol....Of course, I don't think ours is that big either. Thanks for the awesome idea.
