Grow Bag Co-Op Interest (Group Buy)
I have gotten approval from Admin here, thank you Mischka to post this.
Right now this is to find out how many might be interested, yes I know it is based on price. I am talking with www.house-of-green.com (link corrected 6/21) Oregon Breather grow bags #5, #8 and #11 all have handles They have a $250.00 wholesale minimum order (I'm waiting on breakdown) No shipping charges and www.rootpouch.com Black 260 g/m2 fabric weight and Grey 250 g/m2 fabric grow bags #5, #7 and #10 with and without handles They have a $500.00 wholesale minimum order (I have most of it now, waiting on shipping charges) So if you think you might be interested, please fill out the poll. The prices at rootpouch are very good right now, just waiting to see what their shipping is.

Thanks to all who have voted.
I just received word back from Rootpouch, there is additional charges for shipping which I won't know the amount until I place an order. However, Oregon Breather the prices aren't as cheap, but reduced enough to make the $250.00 min and free shipping much more attractive. So, I'll leave the poll up till next week and go from there. I'll post a break down on the costs for each tomorrow.

Just an FYI. I used the Oregon Breathers last year and am using them again this year along with the Root Pouch product. I like them both, but would give the edge to the Root Pouch in terms of durability. They seem to be a bit better construction.

Thanks fortyonenorth, I appreciate you comments. My limited grow bags experiences have only be with some canvas grow bags for flowers. The flowers did so well, that I'm thinking here in Florida they would be great here.
I just wish that Root Pouch didn't have such a high medium. I fix the link for house of green. sorry about that. Jan

well folks I'm having a hard time getting the vendors to commit to how long we have to wait for delivery after the order is placed. I'm a little concerned that should I place the order and they drag it out by 6-8 weeks, which is way too long (in my book).
I'm going to give this another week of talking with them and if they can give a better idea of delivery after placing the order I'll post here to see if anyone wants to move forward. If not then we will close this. thanks all.

Hmmm, now if it was for SmartPots, I'd be in - love those things. The 15 gallon SPs work like a dream with the 20" Texas Tomato cages.

Well, I can't get a reason ship date on the root pouches and the company now wants me to contact one of their distributors, who at the moment their site states they are out of the sizes most of us would be interested.
Sorry to have posted this before all the information was back from the suppliers. Thanks yall.
