Hue Chi Hanyo pic
Anyone else get this variety from Geza and growing it?
The Hue Chi Hanyo has a very nice looking dark foliage. It is the one on the right. Showing a Oaxacan Jewel on the left for comparison. Attachment: HUE CHE HANYO foliage.jpg (101.8 KB) |

Wow that is darker....quite a difference.
I've notice that Dingwall Scottie has darker green foliage, compared to most other varieties I'm growing. |

I have noticed that a few of my Asian varieties also have that darker foliage.

Wow, it's almost blue in the pic.

My plants also turn that color if they get too much nitrogen.

My Hue Chi Hanyo gets the same nutrients as the rest of plants which do not have this darker color, so assume its not caused by nitrogen in this case.
