Wind damage

Will pepper plants stand back up after being knocked down? I know my corn is gone, it flat. Cucumbers, zuchini all flipped over. I can't get pics at the moment but anyone know if there's a chance to save when the storm is gone?

Dan,
I would gently straighten up your pepper plants and find something to use as a temporary support for them. As long as they haven't been ripped out of the ground, they should survived. Be very careful if you use a stake for support. You don't want to push a stake into and through the plant's root mass or ball. That will cause further damage to the plant. I've had pepper plants tip over many times because of the size of the plant or the amount of fruit on the plant. I believe that you will be fine once you get them standing tall again.
