composted manure
hi there! is it too late in oklahoma (hot) to top dress with composted manure? my raised beds don't look completely full- actually only about half. i organic garden. i recently had a patch of late blight,or something fungal. i used some happy frog tomato and vegetable fertiler and organicare pure fertilizer to top dress and water. the new growth is fine. i just wondered if i could add some more of something to my beds to ensure i can keep the plants going until octoberish? one of the reasons i ask, is my plants just don't seem "lush" or "loaded"like some other posters. thanks for your help!

I'm not sure on the manure, isn't it high in nitrogen? You probably don't want a lot of that at this point or you might sacrifice yield.
I'm spraying my plants bi monthly with fish emulsion, seaweed, whole milk, some dissolved epsom salts. They look amazing even through the heat wave, and I have fruitset on almost every plant except Red Penna and Chapman which I do not understand. Blossoms still coming on strong as well. Can you try something like that?

How old is your manure? That is the key to when and how much you can use.
