Default Is this a Druzba?

Got the seeds for this tom from a member but it doesn't look like any Druzba I've seen pics of.
It is however, very smooth and pretty...will taste later today.

2 Juane Flamme on left "Druzba" is on the right.

I grew them one year and I remember them as being rounder and redder. Mine looked similar to the photo in Carolyn's book.

I'm trying to catch up, really I am.

First, the JF's. The one on the left looks OK, but the one on the right, if it's sitting on it's stem end is tapered at the top, which JF is not likely to do.

And if those JF's are the right size, then what you show as Druzba, if sitting on it s blossom end is for sure not Druzba bazed on size and shape but the red is OK.

I think what you got from another member here from Druzba was not correct for the variety just based on the picture you show.

What do you think when you look at other pictures, the fruits in my book included.

Here are some other pictures of Druzba as well, from Google IMAGES. Be sure to put your pointer over a picture to confirm it's Druzba you're looking at:

Some of the pictures are lousy and show ribbed shoulders which Druzba doesn't have, but I don't see any pictures that look like your one with the tapered top.

I'm quite sure it's not a Druzba. Sliced it today to taste test and it was like a Roma inside, almost solid meat with absolutely no flavor. Very disappointed.

Juane Flamme seems to be consistant with all pictures I've seen.
