Default Organic soil

Here in Iowa, it's time for falling leaves. I just took my riding mower with grass catcher for the 3rd ride so far this fall to pick up leaves from my yard. Some people cuss them but I'm thankfull for all the leaves that land in my yard. Leaves, along with grass clippings during the summer, make the best soil that you can get. Forget the commercial fertilizer! Here's a couple of pictures of my garden soil that I took in the 2011 spring.
