Stripe Tomatoes

Are the "stripe" tomatoes related in any way besides the word "stripe" in their name? I'm specifically interested in any relation between Chocolate Stripe and Indian Stripe.

Above is a list of striped varieties fromTania's superb tomato data base. Some are heirlooms, many of them are bred and not heirlooms and some are the result of accidental cross pollination and few are related to each other.

I can tell you that Chocolate Stripes is in no way related to Indian Stripe ( I introduced it), butis probably a version of Cherokee Purple, which often does have faint stripes usually near the shoulders but would not be classified as striped, and nor would Indian Stripe.

There are two different known genes for stripes on fruit,
fs and gs.
