Default Happy New Year....and where I've been

Hey all - a belated Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!

I will keep this really brief....I think many of you are accustomed to my annual post-gardening disappearance/hibernation spell. This year it has been longer and deeper than most - due to a variety of factors. Further adjustment to "retirement", digging into my book, a very ambitious and exhausting gardening season, the complexity of tracking the dwarf project - but added to those, a bit of disillusionment (the whole Dwarf tomato seed "theft" mess, the Joe and Penny stuff) drove me back to my safe, happier place - spending time with my wife and pets and family, reading, music, reflection. Sometimes I feel like I am not cut out for this version of the social networking world - too many pitfalls, too rough and tumble and nasty, too competitive and money based. Then again, maybe I'm just getting old (ha ha).

Anyway - it is 2013, I've got a multitude of seed samples to catalog and sort through from my wonderful Dwarf team (thanks, all), 2013 seedling sales and garden to plan, book to write, workshops to deliver - it's going to be quite a year (aren't they all!).

see you around!

Happy New Year. I missed your videos, especially all your
peppers.

Happy New Year Craig, I will have some Fred's Tie Dye F4 seeds to send to you soon. Of course they won't be F4, but what F5 maybe? They are from one of the three tomato plants you sent me which survived and I finally harvested some tomatoes from it. Sadly an unexpected freeze finished it off but I have plenty of seeds drying to send off.

Happy New Year to you too buddy! Sorry to hear about all the bs. Focus on the good things in life and the rest will fade away like a bad dream. That's all the philosophy you'll get from me today which is probably a good thing.

Happy New Year, Craig. I thought you might be overwhelmed by all your projects, so didn't want to bother you. Looking forward to seeing what you need help with this year.
