Default My Grow List - 2013 (1st draft)

I have downsized my tomato growing area recently. I will be limited to 12-14 plants, only 12 of them in the raised bed. Makes it tough, when I'm used to growing 20-25. Anyway, here goes:

Clear Pink Early
Delicious
Earl's Faux
*Golden Queen (original)
*Independence Day
*JD's Special C-Tex
Mark Twain x 2
Mong
Neves Azorean Red
Roger's Best Black
Rose Quartz Multi-Flora
*Terhune
Early Large Red (if I can get the 15 year old seeds to germinate)

Varieties with an asterisk are new to me.

Maybe not so much of a problem since I was able to wake up 22 yo seeds of September Dawn.

It all depends on how you try to do it, I think.

Carolyn, who forgot to say that the current record for waking up old seed, documented, is 50 yo tomato seed.

Judi, I will be interested to see your results, as we aren't planting any of the same varieties and most of yours are new to me. Black Krim, Cherokee Purple and Marianna's Peace are the ones I am familiar with. Have you ever grown Roger's Best Black? It has replaced Black Krim as my favorite black tomato. Extremely productive here. I am also in Zone 7, but with hotter summers than in your location.

Was Red Barn an undocumented age?
