Default Carolyn, is this - Red Brandywine?

The seeds that grew this were sold as Red Brandywine to my friend 20 miles away. Are they 'Red Brandywine'?

Taste was on the sweet side; but not overly done, not tart, meaty yet juicy & the acid was there; but not strongly overdone either.

Robin, the fruits certainly do not look like true Red Brandywine to me.

RB is a smooth globe, somewhat oblate( flattened) with no belly scars as shown on your photos/

It resembles the false RB that so many folks had shown pictures of both here and at GW.

Perhaps it's one of the two RB's listed at TGS, neither of which is true RB that I and others have talked about so much. The only true RB at TGS has the word Landis associated with it.

What is the leaf form and where were the seeds purchased from?

Robin,
I thought I'd mention that the tomato in the picture looks like it might be pink to me -- I'm seeing more of a rosy hue, not red or red-orange.

I thought exaclty the same thing last night when I viewed this thread before 67 channels and nothing on. Looks just like Brandywine SUDDUTH to me.

I went back and took another look and I now agree with you that it looks more deep pink.

The first time around all I saw looking quickly was the shape and said OOPS, not RB and it isn't, no matter what.
