What tomato disease/s do I have
Hi,
In the backyard my tomatoes have these spots, the leaves turn brown (not really yellow), and whole sections die off. I usually prune it and then it flowers and I get more tomatoes. this is a constant fight while I get tomatoes. In the front yard I have no issues... Pesticides/bug repellent I've used: Mixture of peppers/ginger/garlic (equal portions) blended and sprayed on. 2. Organic spray for fungus/bugs. Pictures to follow Fist one Second Picture: Fungus maybe? Third Picture: Possibly too much water there. though I water every 2-4 days due to rain [IMG]http://i49.tinypic.com/2vuzpzc.jpg[/IMG Fourth: Same deal (better focus) Last: Hope that's not too many pictures. I'm still getting tomatoes, flowers and ripe tomatoes as long as I stay ahead of it. But it's a lot of pruning. What's the problem and how to fix it would be a very welcome bit of information. Thanks, |

Could be early blight which will kill the infected leaves, but you may be able to control by removing the infected leaves and spraying any of a few available anti fungals. The black specks look like some type of insect, but they are small enough I'm not sure what they are. When you spray your insect spray of choice, be sure to coat the leaves thoroughly on the top and bottom to get them all. Good luck .
