woah, weather tribulations
wow, talk about weather craziness this year!!
OUr average is about 67 ish days ad upper 50-low 60's at night. Pending swings to be expected. Today was 83, and due 90's tomorrow, then on sunday/monday due possible rain. Is that blessing or curse for some floating fungi/bacteria issues? What a crazy up/down year thus far Last edited by Tonio; May 3, 2013 at 01:25 AM. |

Yeah well I am in Oklahoma and just got ANOTHER frost last night! For those of you that know Oklahoma, know that we will nearly always hit 100 at least once by June.
A frost in May followed by our typical summers doesn't give you much time to grow much of any tomatoes at all! I guess it would be too much to hope for a cool summer, but that's the only hope I have left.

we had a week of decent weather that shrunk back the snow banks here significantly, but now its back to winter weather. temps in the 20s, snowing again. i am picking up trees, and berry bushes today from the conservation district, and there is no way to plant them.

Earlier in the week I had 81F, yesterday(May 2nd) a high in the low 30's and 11 inches of snow. It has been raining here much more than usual the last three weeks with light snow/sleet thrown in as a bonus. The rivers up here are all very high and flooding their banks.
