I lost my marbles...
...almost fifty years ago. While transplanting tomatoes and beans a couple of days ago, I dug a few of them up.

I've found marbles in my garden too, but they must of been there way before I owned the property. I'd rather find gold coins, but no such luck.

I found a tree once. Four inches down, sawed in big chunks, mixed with landscaping granite chips. After at least 3 years in the ground it was still almost completely intact. :shrug: At the time, I dug it all out and then double dug under the bed.
If I found something like that today, I would leave it in place and build over it -- assuming I even bothered to dig deep enough to find in the first place! |

I found some Civil War minies dropped in 1864 by Yankees who were burning Atlanta.
