No yellow halos so Septoria? If so, can be controlled by copper spray. Caution, don't use at strongest strength or your new leaves will emerge deformed. They straighten out but it takes em 3 weeks to recuperate.

Be sure to try and save that plant...besides having the best name oof any tomato...it is also one of the best tasting!

OK. I look thru the leaf identification stuff. I believe I have either a phosphorous or magnesium deficiency.

Can anyone confirm or deny this diagnosis? What is a good remedy?

It doesn't hurt to add Epsom salt to the soil (http://www.tomatodirt.com/epsom-salts.html) while you doing research.
