Default Craiglist seller of Indigo Rose tomatoes

Holy Smokes, I was perusing craigslist and there is someone posting the "rare" blue tomato Indigo Rose, for $10 a basket. The picture shows a smallish container of 9--count them--9 small tomatoes at $10!!! I have potentially a small treasure trove growing in my front yard, there are loads of fruit on it. Who knew?

Around the turn of the century, the get-rich-quick scheme was planting eucalyptus trees in California. As soon as the trees matured, people discovered the wood could not be worked and the whole scheme fizzled. This presentation has some interesting ads from 1909:

One of my neighbors at a community garden is growing a blue cherry, probably Indigo Rose. They're still hard when they're fully black/purple, and as they soften they turn more red. She's not thrilled with the flavor.
