2013 We love the pictures
It's been another year of learning for us. We added a new raised bed this year, reserved for 9 heirloom plants. We ended up putting 3 Black Krim, 2 Mortgage Lifter, 2 Lillian's Yellow and 2 Cherokee Purple in the new bed.
All of the plants with the exception of the Lillian's grew up to around 12-14ft tall and are producing a record amount of fruit for us. The problem is that we've never had such vigorous growth and were not prepared to support them at that height. Consequently, we tried tying things off of the garage roof and such, ultimately failing to a windstorm. But....we've had some excellent tasting tomato's so far and we will have awesome sauces this winter.
