This is interesting and concerns the compound used in Actinovate, an organic fungicide.

I wonder if it would be too simplistic to plant Flax plants in the tomato patch???? They are pretty at least!

Ya, I think it would be too simplistic.
Just because this specific strain of Streptomyces lydicus was discovered colonizing the roots of a flax plant in England doesn't mean that it can be found on flax roots everywhere.
I agree, Flax is a nice looking plant though.
