Yes and they were not purple; a dark red some call black; not vivid colors at all. Flavor was not good. But for 99 cents, it was not a lot wasted. Maybe someone else had a different experience.
By the way, I purchased another variety this year that the pics looks like a ripe green olive stuffed with a pimento. We shall see. lol |

I have some ordered and should get them any day now. I did not expect them to be this color purple but I wanted to see how they turned out. Many sellers tweak the colors of the pictures in their ads to sell seeds. Buyer beware.

I didn't buy this purple variety but I bought three other varieties. One was yellow with striped that I just tasted and it was tasteless the other two were pink with stripes and the other I can't remember at the moment.

The more I see of this crap come over here.
The more pet food recalls and kids toys with lead. The more pollution they put out. Now tomatoes that are obviously photo shopped. Do these people have no shame or do they just hate the rest of the world that much. This is really irritating to me. I dont mind free trade but garbage, junk and poison for US dollars and Euros is BS. When British farmers and textile workers raised cane over cheap US grain and cotton at least they got a good product. Way out of step here but the tomatoes struck a nerve. Worth. |

2.The colors may have different as the difference display, pls understand.
The above from the Bang Good site. I've spent far too much time Googling to find the kind of expose that I read somewhee, There are no purple tomatoes that originated in China. What some do is to get some dark colored ones from elsewhere and sell them. Could be a named one that is known, could not even be purple, note what I cut and pasted above. That just happened to Lee Goodwin when some other place was selling one that he bred. I think the thread is still here on the first page Did you notice that every variety they sold, and many had no names, were given a 5 star rating? Not much more I can say, well I could, but I won't. Look I dont want to make fun of anybody's grammar and spelling, lord knows mine is bad enough.
But, I went through the reviews&blurbs and was flabbergasted. It read like I was in a Chinese restaurant reading a sign. Example. Banggood.com have varietal diversity flower seeds for sale, if you have patients and according to the instructions to do, you can get beautiful flowers you want. I would be very reluctant to give these people my card number. Worth Last edited by Worth1; February 6, 2014 at 12:52 AM. |

I've got seeds from the same company, they're supposed to be 'mixed heirlooms'. Yes, I realize Chinese laws allow the misleading images - but I hope my mystery seeds at least turn out to be tomatoes.
Have seen the 'multicolor roses' too, and wonder why Ebay doesn't take those listings down sooner. Edit to add that misleading pictures aside, I know that gardening is a very popular hobby in China and people take their homegrown veggies seriously, so I don't think that their seed companies can sell something that's complete cr*p Last edited by NarnianGarden; February 6, 2014 at 04:09 AM. |

As long as Ebay doesn't think it damages their product they are going to look out for themselves and collect the fees. If they get real negative press out of it they are going to take the position that they aren't seed experts and the posters are taking advantage of not only the buyer but ebay also. |
