I am sending seeds out starting tomorrow, and it will take some time - but check the link below. Please allow some weeks for the varieties to be available (perhaps Tatiana, Steve, Remy, Jeff and Carol will provide updates here so that requests are made at an appropriate time)

This will mean that our little Dwarf tomato project will have developed and released commercially 25 - TWENTY FIVE - new varieties - in the US. Patrina, perhaps you can update us on what is now available in Australia, and any plans for what comes next (of course, all made more challenging because we are "unyoked")

It is quite possible that we will have another dozen out there next year.....

Thanks and congratulations to the many volunteers who provide such great commitment and support!

For the record, the numbers per color are:

Green when ripe - 6 (5 with clear skin, 1 with amber skin)
Purple - 4
Brown - 3
Yellow - 4 (one of which will be rereleased after reselection next year)
White - 1
Red - 1
Pink - 4
Yellow/red bicolor - 1
Orange - 1

Regular leaf dwarfs - 11
Potato leaf dwarfs - 9 (remarkable because when we began the project, there was just 1 - the pretty awful tasting, small pink Dwarf Recessive)

an updated list of vendors and the varieties they carry would be great. Rosella purple was a fav of mine last season. I've been searching for more varieties from the dwarf project but haven't been too successful. Maybe i've found 5 or 6 more but no where near 25 varieties.

that's a good idea, and I agree - I've not had the time to keep track of what happens once we get the seeds to the releasing companies....and it is likely to vary year to year. Perhaps some vendors or others in the know will show up and post here about the latest....

For info, many if not all of the released Dwarfs are now being listed in the SSE yearbook (mine showed up today). So that's another way to acquire them.

Google is also helpful - I just Googled Summertime Green, and links to Tatiana's TOMATObase, Victory Seeds, Heritage Tomato Seeds and Tomato Growers's Supply came up...now whether they are all current or in stock would take a bit of further hunting.

when i was in "buying mode" many sites were out of stock of dwarf varieties...things may have changed by now

Check Heritage Steve's site - http://heritagetomatoseed.com/ I believe he has most all of the dwarf varieties in stock, and he carries 17 (soon to be 20) of the dwarf varieties. I've purchased almost all of the dwarfs from him. (Tatiana and Remy have many dwarf varieties also).

OK, I just updated my web site with a page for Boronia.

Besides Boronia, I also have the following varieties from the Dwarf Project --
Dwarf Beryl Beauty
Iditirod Red
Rosella Purple
Summertime Gold
Yukon Quest

I also have tried to grow out seeds for several others (at least 6) but several bad growing seasons have frustrated my plans. I do have some seeds, just not enough to offer for sale yet.

And it is a great website, mouth watering pictures, easy to buy with paypal, AND much more honest than typical seed sellers. I don't like sellers that over hype every tomato variety. Heritage seems more direct about a plants weak points such as low production, flavor, or disease resistance. So I trust them a bit more when they say a particular variety is outstanding.

I like shopping and buying seeds from Heritage, glad you mentioned them.

I'm honored to join Tania, Carol, Remy, and Jeff as participants in the introduction of the 2014 Dwarf Project releases. The five varieties I will be introducing are now available and orders placed this weekend will ship on Tuesday (since Monday is a postal holiday). The 5 varieties I am co-releasing are:

• Big Green Dwarf
• Wherokowhai
• Dwarf Blazing Beauty
• Boronia
• Rosella Crimson

I will be co-releasing Big Green Dwarf, Wherakowhai, and Dwarf Blazing Beauty with Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds.
I will be co-releasing Boronia with Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds and Knapp's Seeds.
I will be co-releasing Rosella Crimson with Remy's Sample Seed Shop.
